I'm more disappointed that Tony Dungy defended this dude.

With that said it's clear the NFL wanted this dude gone before even more severe fukkery was exposed.
Dungy mistake was thinking Gruden only said shyt about black people. We all know talking shyt about black folks is basically acceptable in society, so Tony tried c00n it up. Then more emails came out about the "untouchables" and people like Tony Dungy looking even more stupid. :mjlol:

Hold on. When you code switch at work you typically become MORE professional. Who code switches at a real job (with a HR department) and becomes a racist homophobe?
:dead:
code-switching isn't just about work, it's about individuals. co-workers i'm friends with get a whole different dora than co-workers who i simply have a working relationship with. furthermore, he was sending 1:1 emails from his personal (and espn?) account to people he clearly had personal relationships with in washington's org - again, this isn't about work personas, it's about personal vs business relationships, they can overlap.

This might come off wrong way but someone will catch this. Hate to say LGBTQ is most powerful group going especially entertainment/politic wise. 20 years ago they couldnt get married now they can. Obama got in office helped them out. With us black folk something changed. We always defending these racist clowns somehow.

He was an ESPN employee on MNF at the time that he sent those emails and I'm willing to bet that he wasn't only sending those emails to just NFL employees. They are literally trying to avoid any strays in the situation by not disclosing the fact that he worked for them at the time, which is something that they should do.

Didn't tirico say he didn't identify as black? And we will know Dungy does that shoe shine dance.
But like it's been said, the alphabet gang shouldn't get presidence over us
Yeah Tirco says he identifies as an Eye-talion, and Dungy says he's a god fearing christian man.

The two of them along with the usual suspects of SAS & whitlock(who is not even relevant) were all defending Gruden yesterday. But now that the "others" were offended, EVERYONE will get in line with the narrative.

Remember when the whole thing was going on with Donald Sterling, it was none other than the "hipster" Mark Cuban who was defending Sterling about saying how private messages/calls/texts should NOT be leaked into the public. Again Sterling was talking about BLACK players. I wonder if they stuck a microphone in Cubans face today given everything Gruden said would he still have the same ideology? He wouldn't because he will fall in line too out of fear of being ostracized.

The larger issue that will be ignored by the masses in the media(with the exception of a few) is how acceptable it is to demonize and ridicule black people, in particular black men. I respect Randy Moss, but with all that crying he was doing the other day, he didn't call for Gruden's job, no one did except keyshawn.

Its a two fold problem for me:
One-The immense power the LGBT community has acquired over the masses being such a minuscule population is alarming and ridiculous .

Two- Lets be real here, it could be a ant, roach, stray dog with fleas, great white shark. Nobody in the country really gives a damn about black men being offended. Every group garners more empathy than us.

And a special Fucc you to Mark Davis who knew about the emails before hand and tried to sweep it under the rug and still allowed Gruden to "resign". He's not a hero in this...

Ehhhh I think the higher up's at ESPN are forcing their hand and telling talent not to make any mention of him being an ESPN employee at the time. It comes off as rather disingenuous especially when you don't know if any current or former talent are in those Gruden emails as well and to what extent.

So the NFL and the players were about to give Gruden a pass on the "racist" ish in those emails but when he started saying those derogatory terms about gays and the LGBT community is when the shyt hit the fan? Lol, comedy my brehs.

This is why i watch less and less football nowadays.

They're all businesses. Nba didn't allow players to stand with kapernick because they didn't want to piss off the racist fans. So money matters.

you can know someone pretty well and they still do or say things to others that they'd never say to you - defending the person who they've been to you or what you've observed from them doesn't negate that they can have traits or do things with others that aren't contrary to how they act with you - prime example being a significant other, how a dude/woman talks with their friends may consist of stuff they'd never say to or in front of their s/o
That’s fair but I’m not publicly defending a coworker on those grounds. They can defend themselves. That’s not my job.
