it took literally gta iv's multiplayer about for 3-4 years for lobbies and shyt to die out. this multiplayer sh't died out less than a few months. :snoop:

rockstar has me feeling some type of way. now im upset:to:yall should be too. especially with the fukkery of pushing the release date back like 6 months on purpose making it seem like this was going to be the goat of the series. i don't blame people making the same thread over and over on this.

there is still lots of people on it. They fukked up the online in many ways, one of the main ways was having you roam around the city and pick missions. You start a deathmatch, 16 people, shyts about to be crazy then everybody leaves because it takes so long to get people to join. You sending invites to a dude who could be in the middle of skydiving or driving a tank around fukking shyt up, of course he's not going to leave to join a deathmatch. They should have had a game lobby and a free roam lobby. The game lobby should work just like COD where its rapid quick and then it just throws you into the mission or deathmatch. Then a free roam lobby where you can free roam, do bounties, mod cars play golf etc. Having six choices for the next activity is retarded too, because people are pretty stupid, so you will just finish a mission with 4 players and on the vote there will be some idiot who votes on some massive deathmatch or last team standing when their is only 4 players. Or you do a badass mission flying planes blowing shyt up and some lame wants to race after. Just too much choice and shyt going on that people get lost and go do their own thing.

Single player was amazing but online was wack. I don't have time for all that leveling up crap anymore. I just want to jump in and play. :camby:

I think it's overrated. It's still a good game but The Last of Us was far superior. And I found Bioshock more enjoyable.

I wish that Rockstar would bring back the Bully series.

Nah, The Last of Us holds that title. GTA5 was a chore to beat. That story, which is usually GTA's strong suit was borderline terrible IMO.

It also didn't help that we had to deal with far more irritating characters than in the previous games.

When GTA V first dropped I thought it was one of the greatest video game experience. When I tried to reply the game I have the same complaints as the thread starter.I like the feel of the neighborhoods in GTA San Andreas. GTA V I have such a love hate relationship.

I've never played LOU, but GTA 5 is really an amazing piece of work.

Just the amount of detail is mind-blwoing when you really look at it.

Sure it has it's flaws, but if you just turn it on and have some time to kill. Just cruising or flying around you can find all sorts of stuff you havent seen despite playing it since Sept.

Just the logic the way the people come out at certain times of day or weekend to catch the train or walk the street, go to the beach,, etc.

Not to mention IMO, the driving on this game is more fun that stuff like Gran Turismo, the golf is fun, the tennis is fun.....just alot of stuff ppl forget about :manny:

The only thing that killed this game in ppls eyes was the Online mode. And if that never existed, alot of ppl would have a different opinion about the overall product.

:childplease: You gotta appreciate the story, and the ethos. Its the concept of trying to make a quick buck vs. making a big time score, and the problems it creates. Michael wanted out of the game, which is why he betrayed Trevor, only Trevor didn't die. 10 years later he comes back, and his past comes back to haunt him almost. He was always looking for a way out because sooner or later you end up dead or in jail. Franklin wanted out of the hood and saw a chance how to do a job, with the right people and not getting capped. In the end he was faced with a difficult choice, as he was the one to decide how the end would play out; making him learn that trying to be big time has it's consequences. Trevor's story is a mixture of closure, and making amends with Michael in the end because while he was always truthfull, he realized that his temper almost got him into shyt.

As for the Villians, I liked it, as there was no one big bad. Instead it was a one-night killing spree to tie up loose ends and for everyone to retire in peace with the biggest score known in the GTA Universe.

Each villian was perfect.
  • Stretch was the example of what can happen in the hood, how people can change over time.
  • Wei Chang was the example of how new crime will eventually topple over the old regime.
  • Steve Haines was the example of how the government would gladly use it's own citizens for it's deeds.
  • Devin Weston was the example of how rich people can control people with the power of money.

The backdrop, Los Santos where shyt happens :ohlawd:

I found it fun. But it and gta4 lost some of the magic from earlier titles.

Gta used to be a fukkery playground, now they are more concerned with putting on some type of Hollywood movie.

It's probably why I tend to have more fun with games like saints row or just cause, or even dead rising 3

I beat it in four days.... Not one complaint from me except the early stages of online play we're complete and utter garbage.

And for that reason I gave the game to my younger brother.

I will more than likely repurchase thus game when its released for the newer systems. I'm just a FTA fan and have been since I owned the 2nd one on Dreamcast (which sucks ass compared to GTA3)

Heres why

Boring city-Only part that really felt organic was the hood, and its only like 2 or 3 hoods int he game. Grove street which is a culdesac. The jungles which is one street and the vagos housing project. too bad the hood didnt play any type of major role in this game

The character are unrememorable, having 3 of them jus made it even worst.

the story is retarded. you only make moeny from like 2 heist(the first one and the last one)
The clothes and customization succ
The missions are the worst missions every fora gta game
The worst support characters, ever. Besides lamar the supporting characters are :camby:
The waccest antagonist of any gta game
The online is terrible
and last but not least...
We waited 5 years for it

game is :trash:
