GTA V Fighting Mechanics

I thought i was doing it wrong for the longest. I couldn't figure out why this nikka threw big right after identical big right. Turns out it it's the lazy ass game designers idea to make the fighting repetative and trash. The sucker punch is the only good thing about hand to hand in this game. It's just another small, but hugely gameplay impeding point where Rockstar half-assed it.
