no, having people running around giving out millions of dollars did that. its basic economics

way too many people were getting enough money to buy everything, so rockstar raised the prices to offset that. Higher prices = the less money people will have left over...

shark cards were a way for people who didnt have enough time to play due to work/school/etc to be able to buy stuff, just like Battlefields buyable shortcuts which unlocks everything for a class.

Payouts were lowered because people would just grind the same high paying missions over and over again for RP & Money instead of trying out the other ones that were available... It literally got so bad that Rockstar had to lower things. just youtube "GTA Coveted Grind"... you will see video after video of people telling others to just repeat coveted over and over again to get insane amounts of cash and RP.

so if anything, you should be blaming the cheaters & exploiters, especially the ones on youtube

If it's Single Player Solo Lobby like you say then I'll have Fun with this. I've been playing in a Solo Lobby for about a Week now because the Lobbies have just been annoying lately. Sure, yeah you it's about competition for Money but to some of those Dudes that get Butthurt and Personal with me when I get over and collect the Money.

I hopped in a Packed Lobby and was getting shot at as soon as I got out of the driveway. I'll be enjoying this DLC later.

Coveted was definitely 1 of my favorite GO TO Missions when I 1st Started. Sucked that R* took it off the list though. last time I checked you have to actually go to the location at the top of the hill where it begins in the actual mission just to start it.

sounds like a copout and excuse to me. sharks cards just happened to come for "convenience" when these hackers arose.
you can't complain about people getting alot of money and buying everything and then give people the option to get millions of dollars quickly. instead of hackers, it's them exploiting their own system. they raise the prices and then let you buy your way up like any other microtransaction

and hacking is one thing but im not gone blame some grinder as thats what people do. if you want people to play other modes then make the payout similar or have them be fun, dont lower the overall payout, raise the prices and then sell people virtual money

gta has made half a bil just on those shark cards. dont tell me thats just a convenient bonus

yall should've logged in this weekend and got that 500k stimulus package. i havent been on in a minute. i saw that email. turn that gta online on. band bam 500k strong. but it was only for the weekend i believe. if you logged in then you could keep it. if not. it would disappear for the rest of you. if you bought a shark card recently you would get an addtl 500k bonus after whatever you got with the shark carrd if you went that route.

guess yall gotta grind it back to the top. time to sell those cars money mayweathers. lol

its for both reasons shark cards obviously but also due to the glitchers making all sorts of cash with all the glitches and then giving it away.

i still dont understand why the stock market doesnt work with the online version. that should be a live living stockmarket. and you can earn or lose money as you sleep. its the equivalent of the old San andreas with the vegas hotels with slots. you could win big or lose big.
