Rockstar really fukked up by not using dedicated servers for GTA Online for PC. The script modders and hackers online is out of control. I only play single player now.

not that hard...most mods come with directions on what to do...
Problem is there is no centralized place like say nexusmods were you can be pretty sure there is no funny business going on with the mod
There were two mods a few weeks ago that had some malware in them...RIP to those PC's...
I use a trainer but I am going to wait until icehancer comes out before I get into modding it at all...
And that is only if icehancer is released by the same guys...if not i will have to do some research before i fukk with it or not...

All you need is scripthook and a minimum 3rd grade reading comprehension skills to use script mods which is pretty much all we have right now...how hard is it to get started with modding the game?

hackers are everywhere....
i started playing online after i beat the SP.
today some dude honked his horn and i got in his exotic, chrome car.
we flew through the map as he nuked random areas.
then we teleported to his apartment and he left the game.
and wtf is up with these cats who are at level 9000?
i'm at level 14...

The hackers can even fix bad sport stats, kill everyone in a session and blame it on somebody else. They also can mess with you level, take your money, guns, and cars out of your garage.
If rockstar doesn't fix the problems the players will move on to community servers.

some other dude was spawning wind turbines downtown.
the dude in the tank was knocking the turbine down so the fan was in the street with cops and swat teams running through it...

to me. I don't understand how Rockstar could think using the same P2P system for PC was going to work out long term.

Sounds like fukking Chaos.....
If you download the object Spooner mod u can shoot any object in the game out a gun .
There's only so many 747 jets u can shoot out of a mini gun before the game crashes though
Personally i like shooting expl0d1ing motorcycles. Damn imagine a criminal sticking up a bank with a gun that could shoot motorcycles at 800 ft per second.

Man, this latest patch introduced random fps drops and hitchees out of nowhere. shyt was fine before. Walking into a hair shop and turning the camera in a specific spot causes frame drops that were fine before. I'm not talking 2-3 I'm talking 60 to 30fps.
if i alt-tab out of the game and then come back, my fps drops to 20ish after the newest update.
i can get it back to normal by alt-tabbing again usually.
Damn shame what happened to this thread.
