I’d be more hype for RDR 3. That’s not a knock on GTA but as far as storytelling goes RDR is light years ahead.

So many games have tried this though. What sets GTA apart has always been the story (besides the scale and details). A good story, you can tell it back like a book. If GTA had some generic story that was avg, it'd be another saints row.

GTAO took off like in did in part to me because 5 has a weak plot and forgettable protagonists especially coming off of what 4 had to offer.
