Their hesitation is fair. Square and Crystal Dynamics really fukked up.
that game mainly sucked because it was a lootbox battle royal game with avengers skins. starwars battlefront 3 basically. even if they did everything else perfect i would've hated it. those type of games are better suited for a casino or an arcade imo.
this game is more story driven. in fact it almost looks like a telltale game, but with actual combat mechanics. much easier for me to enjoy that type of game

I watched about a half hour of gameplay of this and I’ll say the best thing they did was make it straight up linear. For a game like this they just dumped a shyt load of detail into the environments and cut out the needless back tracking.
This is like the worst description of Avengers
the whole game is just them dropping you into an arena and then you play capture the flag. literally textbook definition of how i described it.
Oh so now 81 MC is a good game.
