In this specific instance - he spoke before the feds confirmed at the Pooh Shiesty bail hearing that Gucci gave a statement, and before Gucci's latest song.

He still has a post on his page about how Gucci did right by him by signing him. He also has a post about what he would have done if he'd been the one that had been robbed.

Putting aside how idiotic a lot of this is, Ralo has always been on that "street nikka, handle your business, don't tell" type shyt. He assumed Gucci didn't tell in this situation so he jumped out riding for Gucci because Gucci is a pillar of this street stuff in Atlanta. It then came to light that Gucci did in fact give the cops a statement, helped identify the culprits and made this tell-all song, so now Ralo's walking it back to stay consistent. I'm just contextualizing what has happened here

Just for clarity..So Gucci should have kept quiet,let the dust settle and then go slide on the people that held him at gunpoint for a business disagreement and possibly go to jail himself.Every idiot with a phone and low self esteem will snitch on themselves for clout and likes but the consensus is that he should have risked his life and that of others because he didn't adhere to a unwritten set of rules which includes being absolutely fine with setting up the very same man that give you an opportunity and made you rich.Gucci painted himself into a corner with his allegiance to something that he is not a part off anymore,now look at yaIt doesn't make sense but I'm glad I stepped back from the idiot Olympics cause common sense and reality didn't clear the high jump a long time ago.

I'd hazard a guess that this is the kind of take that's making street dudes say they hate when non-street dudes speak on street stuff.

From what I've seen, what street dudes are saying is that contrary to popular belief - street dudes take a lot of L's and it's all part of the game. It's part of being a "street nikka", and staying solid is the anchoring motif throughout Gucci's career and character. Gucci should have taken his L and kept it pushing. They're not saying they expected him to slide. Some say if it was them they would slide, some say nah, they woulda just taken the L and charge it to the game. Ultimately, Pooh Shiesty would have still been signed to Gucci and the statements would have come from the off-duty security guards etc. Gucci could have refused to give a statement etc. All of this by the way, seems consistent with Gucci's own preachings and teachings.

Seems like the whole "so yall wanted Gucci to endanger himself and his freedom to adhere to a code?" thing is a thing being pushed by non-street dudes to move goalposts
