Gucci and the whole So Icey / Brick Squad Movement been had a presence in that area ...matter of fact the MENTAL HOSPITAL that he checked himself in at in Milledgeville is located in that area
the only reason Gucci has taken this long to do a show, and i heard this from a promoter mouth is that alot of Mactown promoters didn't wanna burn any bridges with Jeezy and the CTE movement , so alot of bookings that could have went down , never did.....he actually was booked to do a show several years back at Club Money...but supposedly that got "baller blocked" by you know who
Not to mention that same club has a poster and photos of Pookie Loc hanging up in that club..so that would have been kind of awkard...
but for the most part......that shyt been deaded (no pun intended)
and honestly GUCCI been gettin more LOVE than JEEZY himself whom only passes thru to get show money and exploit it for video shots like the "Hustle Hard" clip....and for years cats in the Mactown been getting a little tired of JEEZY exploiting that area for STREET CRED.....especially in the words of one Mactown O.G i talked to who stated...
