The reason Keef was available for Gucci to sign is because record sales mattered. If he accomplished the goal of selling records he would still be on Interscope. So if he signed to Interscope before Bricksquad then obviously even a simpleton like yourself could realize that he did it to sell records in the record business oh wait, you believe it's all about being hot on the internet right?

Chief keef failed to sell records at interscope because interscope doesn't know how to market a trap artist, and many other companies don't know how to either, which is why if you've noticed most trap artists do better when handling business themselves than with record labels. Not all music is meant to top charts and go gold, and trap is one of them, and I'm glad because for the most part it keeps the fakkits and pop fans away from it and also stops the artists from having to sell out.

Thanks for breaking down the abstract appreciation for Trap Music. It's so complicated understanding rapping about dope and guns with zero wordplay or wittiness and less than an iota of lyricism.
