I was on that for some years, but I never lived in the 'jects. One place was in a neighborhood where middle-class families were abundant, another was on the good side of town, and the last one didn't become a hell hole until a few years after we moved.
...and $24,000 is more than enough to raise a regular kid. My mom pulled in a good $1600 a month with very little help from the rest of our family and still managed to see all 3 of her kids make something of themselves.
Lastly, special needs can range from something as simple as high-functioning Autism to something like Cerebral palsy; stop jumping to these broad ass generalizations. I mean, we don't even know if the kid is disabled or not and what its disability is.

I just want to add a tidbit on child support. It is ridiculous how many men still dont understand how it works.
Child support evens out the household incomes (until they both reach a certain mark). The point is for the child to be given the same LIFESTYLE (as it pertains to value) as they would have if their parents lived together. So... If while living together, your child would have had their own room, private schools, tutors, music lessons, etc. Child support will be awarded in a way for that to still be the kids lifestyle regardless of who the kid lives with.

Thats how you can tell the difference between the real and frauds on here...They don't even realize section 8 housing is all over from suburbs to the inner city to the country it's all about the realtor...I actually considered providing section 8 housing with the townhouse we owned but It was too much paperwork and additional requirements so I just found a property management spot.
