Fans are just as hypocritical tho. They shyt on a rapper lying about killing and selling dope but also shyt on rappers that get caught doing what they rap.
The first part are usually the wannabe thugs who, when they get pressed, you find out they ain't never been about that life. So the question stands as to why choose to be a gangster rapper in the first place, especially if you can't show and prove.
The latter, is well, just dumb. At least use witty wordplay to describe your ordeals.
And that's why rap is a dying art, there's no more storytelling or even overly used metaphors and similes.
