When you rhymes are wack and you ain't saying nothing, trust me, it's easy to record a lot of crap. He screams and cusses. That ain't no skill man. It's mindless garbage. His is a case of quantity over quality.

I knew he put out a lot of work, but I never seen it run down before.

The best part about it is each run brought us something different.

The 06-08 Gucci was an entirely different animal than the 09-11 Gucci, and the same can be said for '12 and on.

His style is dynamic and constantly changing; it grows and develops as his fans' tastes change over time. He never waters it down, nor does he really care about crossing over.

I'm happy to say I've been a fan, and I'm glad this forum is full of Gucci supporters. I did a presentation last semester on him for a media course and my professor was astounded by this guy. His worth ethic, his personality, his leadership abilities, his ability to convey his ideas through sophisticated use of metaphors, and even his erratic behavior. It's all a part of who he is as an artist and why he's what I call a LIVING LEGEND.

Edit: props OP, this is a five star thread. Gucci's music can seem daunting at first because there is so much of it and no real entry point, unless you've been keeping up. This is very well organized, but I will point out I've noticed at least a couple of entries missing. In particular a few of his older, unofficial projects (although they included lots of songs that were found elsewhere, they each had at least a couple exclusives).

I always tell people how Gucci has had about 4 different styles and ALWAYS adjust to whatever is current. Top 10 of all time DOA in my book

Fam I know it SOUNDS like he isnt saying anything...Im originally from NY..so i grew up on Nas,Jay etc. And at first when I heard Wop spit that down south trap shyt..i thought he wasnt saying anything either..but when you learn the slang and listen to what this nikka says (on some of his songs) he really is talking about that down south real trap shyt..thats why all the dopeboys out south fukk with him..same way NY nikkas fukk with styles p because of his authenticity is the same reason down south nikkas fukk with Wop.
