Came in to get mad at this thread, but realized it says NY albums....based on that i dont feel strongly enuff about any 90's east coast album to be outraged at this opinion....i do love this album.

I dont agree with this opinion though, now had you said Chopper City i would be there with you:wow:

This is the BS I'm talking about. You have nothing that supports this.

:why:

what the hell else do you want me to say?
you want me to type an essay about nothing.

cuz that's what ugk, 8ball & mjg meant in the east coast. absolutely NOTHING.
they had no buzz, no hits, no airplay, no nothing, and theyre from a completely different part of the country.
at best, you might randomly find one of their albums in the collection of somebody like a wacky d. that's the most I can say on their behalf. other than that, their only relevance was appearing on someone's album. oh, and "8ball is the guy that's coming out with a triple cd."

what the f*ck else do you want me to tell you?

YOU should be the one giving me proof as to how they were popin on the east. and you didn't post chit yet.

you never been on the east coast a day in your life, but yet you want to tell me who was poppin up here.
you don't even be out & about in your own region.

what does that have to do with what we're talking about?

what does young money have to do with the hot boys?

^^^ It'd be different if the only magazines they were appearing on was Murder Dog, but they weren't.
