What can a console do better than a PC in terms of media? Gotta hear this lmao
My 4 year old can navigate to and do anything he wants on the Xbox. My 30 year old wife needs my help to do almost anything on my PC

Types of ppl in the community? You mean those 12 yr old cacs who all somehow managed to have sex with my mom last night? nikka you delusional :sascup2:

If you disagree with all that you should be gaming on PC :manny:
did you read my post about the hassles of PC gaming breh?

I wanna play BF4 and don't have time to build a PC or space to put a PC in my living space. I have a TV and an entertainment system.

So I am then in the market for a console correct??

So why wouldn't spend 100$ less to play a 'marginally' better version?

Not to mention I enjoyed Infamous far more than Titanfall and don't see much in exclusives on the horizon that interest me on X1

The Show, Demon Souls Successor and whatever Naughty Dog's cooking up do interest me and just as icing on the cake, the multiplats are AT least slightly better resolution and framerate. It's not THE reason I bought a PS4, but it's certainly not a negative.

Damn son.

Also PC heads keep acting like dealing with different video card drivers, upgrades and the overall fukkery that is Windows as well as the douchebag hacker community that lives and breathes in the PC community isn't a good enough reason to play on consoles

They think we don't know how to build PC's :mjlol:

They think we don't know the graphics can be better on PC:mjlol:

They think we don't know about the steam sales :mjlol:

They think we don't know about Mods :mjlol:

They think we don't know you can use a controller and plug it into your TV :mjlol:

We do mothafukkas.

Buys PS4, plugs in, has amazing experience

Buys Video card, Ram, Copy of Windows, Monitor, case, cooling system, processor, motherboard, videocard with dedicated memory, builds machine, installs windows, downloads driver updates, goes to play game....

finds out a dni file has to be copied to a root folder that's hidden in order for this game to work well with my particular 400$ graphics card.

copies file to root folder, game starts crashing, finds out its normal with other users who have this card, waits for an Nvidia Patch for this game.

Reads game box *designed for AMDRatheons*

*waits for patch and plays some gay MOBA that social degenerates from China love*

^Yea this doesn't happen with everything, but be real PC gamers, you doin shyt like this all the time.

:sas1:

Haven't had this issue at all bruh. Let's not act like every platform of gaming doesn't have issues. Like Sony hasn't issued updates that bricked consoles. Like 360's didn't have the RROD and every other color under the sun. Like PS4 owners didn't have issues with updates and controllers upon launch. Like nikkas haven't had to ship consoles in to get their issues fixed(or just buy new consoles).

And I haven't ever had to modify a dni file to get a game working breh. I've had to ship my 360 in tho. Also had to avoid updating my PS3 because a patch was bricking consoles everywhere. :sas2:

Hopefully when I cop my PS4 over the summer it'll be without issues.

you've never had to manually copy a file to play a game the intended way?

Ran into hackers?

ran into videocard compatibility issues, or monitor sync issues? or patch problems? or Windows updates breaking games?

You really gonna say building a custom PC is as plug and play an experience as a console?

:camby:

maybe if you overpay to have one built for you.

So your wife being a functioning retard matters to me? :heh:

I've seen 6 year olds start up a PC, login, and start playing minecraft online with kids from their school. :manny:

Every gaming community has childish members. my point is that behavior is uniform across all gaming communities.

You got nikkas who always mad crying on forums.
You got nikkas who dikkride like they on the payroll etc

that's the circle of life of gaming :lolbron:

Your post was misinformed. You don't have to build a computer and it isn't very hard/time consuming to start

I wanna play BF4 and don't have time to build a PC or space to put a PC in my living space. I have a TV and an entertainment system.
Again you don't have to build a PC. And it's easy to hook one up to your tv.

So I am then in the market for a console correct??
You are a misinformed consumer. If BF4 was your decision maker, you should have invested in a PC.

So why wouldn't spend 100$ less to play a 'marginally' better version?

The rest of this is Stan shyt. As I said I'm not interested in changing your opinion. The bolded is the only point I was trying to make:manny:

It's not as plug and play as a console, but at the same time, you're over exaggerating these problems like they are common occurrences.

I've yet to have to manually copy a file to get it to play right except for Skyrim but that's because I have this game modded to hell.

Hackers are on consoles also.

Consoles break down too. and instead of being able to fix it myself and not void the warranty, I have to send it back in and wait 1-2 weeks

I've built three gaming PCs since I got into PC gaming (06) and I never had those problems.

I've hacked on PC and console games though. :lolbron:

The general day to day user experience is better on consoles. No amount of master race rhetoric will change that :manny:

Nah you can't. You can do some of the same stuff, but consoles do it better.

And I'm not talking the size of the community. I'm talking about the types of people who are in the community. For example titanfall is slow and not very popular on PC.

On X1 it stays poppin. Had I bought the "superior" version I wouldn't have as much fun as I do on Xbox. Not to mention I don't have to worry about playing against KB/M players

Yes just like titanfall. I didn't ask you anything. And pretending that the slight difference between X1 and PS4 games actually maters is laughable.

Dats a got damn lie lmao.

You acting like it doesn't go in the positive column for the console though.

It ain't that big a deal, but it ain't no negative point :lolbron:

Also all those PC experiences are experiences I had myself with gaming rigs.

Im a computer nerd. I work in IT and tech support. I could build a high end rig with my eyes shut. I just choose not to currently due to finances, space, and the fact that my main use of a computer is music production and I use a Macbook Pro and iMac for that.

But my post is not misinformed, every single thing I typed there is from personal experience building computers, playing games on computers, and owning consoles.

Building a PC ain't hard, but it's harder than pluggin a console into a TV and sitting down for sure.

I can't count how many times Ive had to research weird little one off issues that cause random quirks in PC games on my PC.

No ones saying PC gaming can't be amazing, I just personally don't have the time to invest into it.

So what's my next best option then...:troll:
