Your post was misinformed. You don't have to build a computer and it isn't very hard/time consuming to start

Again you don't have to build a PC. And it's easy to hook one up to your tv.

You are a misinformed consumer. If BF4 was your decision maker, you should have invested in a PC.

The rest of this is Stan shyt. As I said I'm not interested in changing your opinion. The bolded is the only point I was trying to make:manny:
don't wanna run origin on my machine either :manny:

BTW, PS4 could have 0 games for the next 4 years and I still woulda copped to see what Naughty Dog comes with

i done owned every game console since the NES, I ain't no fanboy, I love this video-game shyt :blessed:

There is logic in everything I say...just admit it :manny:

I used to play Wolfenstein by typing Dos commands to open the game. C:/Directory

shyt what ya'll know about Windows 3.1? Doom?

Ya'll question my credibility in these gaming streets??????

You acting like it doesn't go in the positive column for the console though.

It ain't that big a deal, but it ain't no negative point :lolbron:

Also all those PC experiences are experiences I had myself with gaming rigs.

Im a computer nerd. I work in IT and tech support. I could build a high end rig with my eyes shut. I just choose not to currently due to finances, space, and the fact that my main use of a computer is music production and I use a Macbook Pro and iMac for that.

But my post is not misinformed, every single thing I typed there is from personal experience building computers, playing games on computers, and owning consoles.

Building a PC ain't hard, but it's harder than pluggin a console into a TV and sitting down for sure.

I can't count how many times Ive had to research weird little one off issues that cause random quirks in PC games on my PC.

No ones saying PC gaming can't be amazing, I just personally don't have the time to invest into it.

So what's my next best option then...:troll:

*runs skyrim with HD texture pack*
Never said it wasn't a positive it's just not a difference maker like y'all try to make it out to be.

And less than 6 months ago you could have found a post of mine that reads just like yours all the way down to the IT job and building computers with my eyes closed. But I was an ignorant consumer, I have a gaming rig now and I realized all those console gamer taking points I used to repeat are just incorrect.

Seems like more people on the Coli play on ps4 or plan on buying a ps4...That would seemingly be the better community to those of us who enjoy gaming within this community.

Im not saying you can't have a superior experience on a PC, or that's even more than marginally difficult. to get a gaming PC built and running.

Guess Im just tired of PC gamers acting like they know some secret the rest of us aren't privy too.

you've never had to manually copy a file to play a game the intended way?

Ran into hackers?

ran into videocard compatibility issues, or monitor sync issues? or patch problems? or Windows updates breaking games?

You really gonna say building a custom PC is as plug and play an experience as a console?

:camby:

maybe if you overpay to have one built for you.

You run into hackers on any platform of gaming honestly. Hop on older CoD games and see what's poppin. Halo 2 you didn't wanna play DLC maps in matchmaking cause there was a chance nikkas had auto-aim BR's. Stop being ridiculous man. Video games in general will have a lot of the same issues when it comes to hacking. It's not a PC exclusive thing, although it's a lot more susceptible to happen on PC's given that users have easy access to files and directories whereas consoles don't. Even then, I don't run into hackers often, nor do they have much impact. Halo 2 hackers were ridiculous, CoD hackers are wild as fukk. Even GTA hackers were doing crazy shyt, giving out millions of dollars :russ:. Half the time I see dudes get kicked out of servers for having hacks and I didn't even notice.

As far as videocard issues, nope. Run an AMD card and the drivers have been perfectly fine with every game I've played so far. That's not to say it couldn't happen, I just personally haven't run into it. No issues with any games for any reason really. Always heard Skyrim and Fallout 3 had issues running on Windows 7...just DL'd both and started playing. So far for me it's been a relatively smooth experience. Only issues I've had with games have been with BF4 and that's simply because the game itself has issues, not because of my PC. Any issues I've had with my computer is because I personally went out of my way to modify things such as my BIOS and stuff just to see what's good with my PC and did something wrong somewhere, which was easy to fix because i could just reset everything back to it's defaults.

I built my own PC for less than $800, and have installed everything on it personally. I've changed the default registries to where things install. I play a decent amount of video games across multiple platforms and have experienced multiple issues of varying degrees. I've had more issues with consoles than with PC's. It's honestly not that difficult to build a PC, much less maintain one(assuming you aren't going to be modifying shyt you don't understand). I'm a console dude at heart but I'm not gonna pretend like PC's are a foreign language wrapped inside a complex matrix because they're not, and if you feel that way, that's you breh. I'm being as truthful as I can be. I play my PC and my 360 damn near everyday. I understand both have advantages, I just don't know why people seem to think PC gaming is a wild crazy enigma when it's not. My experience has been nothing but positive and smooth and I expect it to stay that way for a while.

naw i don't think it's a wild crazy enigma.

just bothers me when PC elitist see no logic in the convenience of console

they always acting like we didn't know we could build a PC to play the better version.

we do know we can, we just chose not to

i even have a gaming rig, shyt I have Skyrim Diablo III and Minecraft on it right now.

But typing console commands to do whatever I want isn't really playing the game to me. it's a cool novelty, and the toolset to create content is real cool.

Skyrims looks better with the HD texture packs, and it's fun seeing the user created DLC and enemies weapons armor characters etc. But I still put more hours into Skyrim on 360 cause I just preferred sitting on my couch and running a mini dvi to HDMI from my setup to my TV would've been a pain. I do like some of the Mods though.

Diablo III was trash too

Sega will buy Microsoft and get revenge on the gaming industry after what happened to the Saturn and Dreamcast, and Shenmue 3 will be a launch title on their new console. :ohlawd:

I put stupid hours into 360 Skyrim fam, so most of the Skyrim stuff I do is user-created. Those weather mods and stuff though :lawd: and rebalancing the magic and getting all the extra spells :krs: shyt really breathing new life into the game for me, and i never fully explored the DLC's so that's also a plus since i scooped up the Legendary Edition for the low.

Diablo 3 just wasn't viable enough :to: That Path of Exile is fun tho. The Invasion Hardcore mode gets intense.

Sega has released a string of flops and had to merge with with Sammy to stay afloat
