People who are interested in the PS5 aren't going to jump ship because of the price.
They may complain at first but will still put money on it in the end.

if you really want to know the truth, its actually kind of racist or stereotypical
in sales we always end in .98 and .99 because in asian culture 99 and 98 are goodluck or good meanings
ending in a 4 and in some cases 5 is bad luck , especially 4 but not even worth it to risk at 5
im not actually joking, if you ever start moving up that corporate ladder and execs are more comfortable with you on why they price things the way they are this will be one of the things you learn Especially in the Bay Area where its huge asian population, its why you will never see anything end in .55 or .44 example a car for $12,455
shyt some will take it to the extreme if even after taxes something comes out to a .4 or .5 theyll bump it up to .99 if you think im lying the next time you go to a car lot try and find any car that ends with a 4 or 5 on the sticker on the windshield
especially Honda, Toyota or Lexus dealership good luck finding it
