Man accused of taking upskirt pictures in Brookhaven

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. —

Brookhaven police believe a man caught on camera taking pictures up a woman's skirt at a local supermarket has done this before. Surveillance video shows a woman turn around and almost catch the man in the act.

Police say the man they're looking for followed a woman around a grocery store, and into the checkout line.

"At this point he pulls out his cellphone, you can see it, and you can see him. He squats down, and takes pictures. This is one of four attempts," Carlos Nino of Brookhaven police said.

Police say the man checked the pictures that he took while still standing in line and went back to take more right in front of other customers and store employees.

The fourth time, the man was nearly caught in the act.

"You can see our victim looking back at him right here. I'm not sure if there was an exchange of words," Nino said.

At that point, the man steps back and then quickly walks out of the store leaving his groceries behind.

Police say the guy wasn't very discreet in his actions.

Nino says he wouldn't be surprised if he's done this before.
