Man in NYC even rich ppl ride the bus.
In NY using mass transit does not equal broke.
I ride buses all over NYC as a hobby and seen all walks of life riding the bus.
Notice its the broke nikkaz who have an issue with this comment.
Nobody living in NYC with a vehicle would ever chose MTA over actually driving if they had the option. And the people with money who ride MTA do it to avoid parking fees in midtown/downtown.

I stayed on 166th and Washington in the Bronx and
I HATED public transportation..been on it with my mom since I was a baby with Mom who utilized it to get to Brooklyn for work and see family for me to stay with
Time I got my license and was able to save up and buy a Car I COULDNT WAIT TO DRIVE!!
