maybe this group didn't change much in the last 60,000 years because they were so isolated and had such low numbers that there couldn't be as much genetic mutations as there would be in larger populations
while in Africa you had much larger populations and more diverse environments and diets that led to the phenotypical differences we see there that we don't see in the Andaman Islands
