I don't know either way if Douglass is mixed or not. He said he suspected it in the beginning of his memoirs, but there was never any confirmation either way. Still, his designation is irrelevant to the question of this girl's race. Posting his picture up only makes people emotional; it doesn't change anything. The girl IS mixed race regardless of anything else. There are many people who you wouldn't call "black" with some black ancestry.
