I work at a hospital and been basically getting my ass kicked everyday… it doesn’t help that these people are rude and disrespectful as fukk, and I’m tired seeing people dying at a high rate and I’m saying this as a person who works in a small rural hospital. Overloading these hospitals is real.

Then tell the truth about short staffing, high patient ratios and bad management as well. Also the mass exodus that was already happening before this.

It’s understaffing more than anything, but that’s because hospitals intentionally work with skeleton crews as all employers try to do in our now toxic capitalist society, however you’re dealing with people’s lives so this is the one job that should always be adequately staffed and this has been an issue long before covvid.

I agree with you my sister is a nurse. One who is down for striking. I just hate it that people are making it seem like it is a humanitarian issue when like you said it best a CAPITALISTIC SOCIETY issue. Trust me I work for a corporate company who puts customers first and employees second. It's all about money to them, and over working us is the fukking least of their worries. Oh yeah no overtime, "we still gotta stay on budget." As if all our numbers aren't still high and rising starting last year during this pandemic. I question the people who keep spouting this bullshyt without actually being out in this shyt for the last year and a half. So for the next person to start an anti vaxxers thread ask yourself this, were you one of the people who fought against wearing mask last year when they said it would slow down numbers, or are you just on get a vaccine the government actually cares for my well being I'll be fine.
