Isiah Thomas 4-14 tonight
Thank God "I'm not a sixth man" didnt have bron holding him back tonight

NOBODY Cleveland traded for is playing worse than who they let go......CAVS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER KEEPING THEM....anyone wit eyes knows that...let’s all cut the shyt![]()
Nah...you sound like a hating cornball.....when Cavs went on a 13 game win streak (I think almost all without Derrick Rose and definitely all without IT) neither player was in the lineup and D Wade was moved back to a sixth man position.....once D Rose came back, IT joined the squad on court and D Wades minutes rose the Cavs couldn’t win a game......so the players who were apart of that win streak, let me ask you did they have a problem being successful wit Bron.....NoCavs have been struggling since the trade and the other players have gotten their mojo back... ur too focused on stats, which don't tell the whole story
You sound like a Hypebeast Cac
, just Channing Frye, K Love Korver and Crowder played well......point is those games they lost were not because of Bron effect on IT, Crowder, (who was part of the win streak) Wade and D Rose ....they just collectively sucked as a unit once all healthy together and are singularly barely average today. Frye is the only true casualty of that trade....the rest barely produced much more than turnovers and lack of defense.

None of the players traded are wrecking the league today and having serious impact....all are once upon a time stars whose better days are past (except Crowder who was never a star to begin with).......but still brought their star egos to the court unwilling to do the soldier work required, and Crowder joined that foolish mentality, cause earlier he was at least attempting to do the little things.
Quit blaming Bron for other grown men’s lack of seizing the moment.....and quit being a hater in general
And the Cavs have maintained a top three position in the east behind those trades....had they kept them they likely lookin at a 5 6 or 7 seed, cuz they wouldn’t have beat Boston OKC or a handful of those other teams with the squad as is, you just talkin dumb shyt wit a keyboard.![]()
Yea, ok. A. the players gotta have the will to win (which they didn’t) and B. and have the have the will to work (which they also didn’t).....but during the 13 game win streak you think Korver, love, Crowder and Frye are doing that without Bron.....think anyone of them could create a shot without him on the court......you know betterGlad we agree.
the whole narrative that LeBron makes his teammates better got exposed in a major way this year.

And they lost to those same losing teams they beat (pistons magic etc.,) after the win streak with that old ex-star flabby core.....During that 13 game winning streak, only 1 was against a team with a winning record

You know Lebron ruins players because when I saw the thread title, I didn't know if you were talking about IT, D.Wade, Jae Crowder or D.Rose.
All 4 are rejuvenated.
George Hill is the only player that plays meaningful minutes in the second round of the playoffs. Nance is out of the rotation, Clarkson should be, and Hood is the third SG in the depth chart.Hill had a much better shot at being a starter on a contending team than IT did because he recently was a plus defender and he's not 5'8". He doesn't look like he has his game together yet, but he's only 31 so I'm not counting him out. You wouldn't want him to be your 3rd option, but he could be the 4th or 5th guy.
Hood definitely has the potential to be the starting SG on a contender - he has the potential at both ends, we just have to see if he ever lives up to it. Wade was clearly done and it was only going to go downhill.
Larry Nance Jr. could be a backup big on a contender. Crowder's issue is that he's a tweener on defense so he only fits in a very particular lineup, and his 3pt shooting isn't good enough to be a solid 3-and-D guy.
Clarkson could be the backup point on a contender. Rose is done.
Like I said at the time of the trade, those guys didn't make the Cavs contenders. The Cavs were still short a starting center who could protect the rim at least, and an above-average 3-and-D guard too if either Hill or Hood don't excel. But they at least had the chance of being 4 plus pieces on a contender, which is more than you could say for all the guys they replaced except maybe Crowder (who clearly didn't fit on this team).

I think Crowder would be tbh, I feel like they gave up on him way too early. You're right.
I didn't say they'd be those guys, I just said they at least had a chance. No one the Cavs got rid of would be helping them right now either.![]()
