1. Malwareybytes

2. Reboot

3. Combo Fix or Hijack this

4. Reboot

5. Malwarebytes again

6. Reboot.

7. Run a full internet security suite scan ( something like Kaspersky Internet Security...it's a pain to set up but I think it is hands down the best security suite on the market )

8. Reboot

9. Ccleaner

10. Reboot

Mid west and duck

I don't know what happend I thought everything was fine, I went to some club than came back to my laptop a few hours and it's not working

1st Update from yday: I feel asleep while the laptop was on doingthe rescue scan thing, I woke up to it working again but it seems like after opening up chrome everything started slowing down , so now I took the chance of backing up all my files on USB 20 gigs of files, took a few hours so now I'm not angry and sad but after that I downloaded the AVG scan thing and after the first scan it told me to download the clean up thing which I did but after an hour it opend Internet explore to let me know about the product I downloaded than it froze, I couldn't do anything so I feel asleep for an hour and woke up and it was still in its frozen state, I pressed the power button cause I couldn't do anything else hoping it would turn back normal so I could maybe scan again and guess what happend, the laptop starts up but goes black screen with only the mouse arrow to be seen and moveable. So now I restart and press F10 again and it takes me back to the VAIO care rescue but now it's doing some type of hardware diagnostics, this is where I am right now.

How I think I got problems on my laptop: I have this program called freecorder which vanished from my toolbar on EX so I tried to download it again and that's when my laptop started going

Like I said I'm I'm happy I got the chance to back up all my files *obama wiping sweat off his head smiley* it's just now that I can't get this working in top form, I hate how this happend out of the blue too, I don't even download many things so for me to download one thing I needed really pisses me if brehs.

Can u relate to my pain???

Real talk breh I :salute: you for this kind of thread, personally though if the virus is quite severe I would rather simply wipe the entire drive and begin again :manny: I know some people can't do this but it's always an option though, dapped and rep'd.

I'm loading the avg tune up right now, should I download another one just to be safe? My laptop is still slow so this virus must still be on it

if you haven't already you should download and run these in this order

2. Malwarebytes anti malware

https://www.malwarebytes.org/downloads/

Best Malware scanner best of its kind, make sure you run this at least once a month and do all the proper updates to it

3. Spybot Search and Destroy

http://download.cnet.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html

Anti spyware tool, i run this every two months or so , again another one that is constantly getting updated

4. CC Cleaner

https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

If you ever need to do a quick history/registry cleaning of your computer this is the best tool out, very lightweight program i run this every 2-3 months

5. Hijack this

http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro-HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html

this scans your system and then provides you with a log of what is causing the problem, it will create text file which them you can post on here http://www.hijackthis.de/ This website will very plainly tell you what to keep and what to delete.

After its done i would restart my computer and re-run AVG antivirus (not the tune up) and Malwarebyes again

Keep in mind all these scans should take you a total of probaly at least 2 and half hours to run
