Another thing i did to speed up my start up was to stop useless programs to start up in the backround... there's a video on YouTube on how to do that I'll upload it later... there's also ways to double your ram on there.

Yea that's weird , I've heard of people going in and manually editing there registry and having issues but never with CC cleaner . I will admit this although I have never had issue with it, when you run it does give a small warning saying issues may happen and that you should back the files your about to clean ( and it gives you the option to do that) which i always do.

i always back my registry up manually before i do anything to it/anyone elses, all it takes is a couple clicks.

Also go to your drive and do a disk cleaner check

also...

run>prefetch>Cntrl a and delete

run>%temp%> Cntrl a and delete

:myman: windows/temp also

a friends mom has a hp desktop and sometimes the fan will start making a ridiculously loud sound and shut the fukk down or after a few attempts after that it'll just turn off and start making a beeping sound and won't turn on at all

i never took a good look at that but should I just tell her to clean the fan out and shyt?

looked at it online a few days ago and HP's forum mentioned a similar problem that went with the bios not being up to date, i looked for an update and couldn't find one

Fan is super dirty and has lead to eminent hard drive failure. That is how back in the day our second desktop died a HP too, tower needs to be opened and cleaned and I bet it's somewhere where it's not getting enough cool air also

But from the looks of it it's gonna be RIP soon I would advise them to back up anything of importance on a external drive
