I think we're being somewhat illusive...

You know good and well what people mean when they say "NY Sound" they mean a Don Q, Dave East, Young MA etc They're looking for a variety of things cadence, diction, wit, bars...shyt like that No different than West Coast music is going to have synths, live instrumentation or a play off that 80s Too Short sound or down south isn't going to have that huge emphasis on pronunciation but letting the drawl work in their favor. To say the other regions have moved away from their roots would be dishonest

Because they don't have a hit and they sound like Chicago rappers.

I see them other yougins do big numbers on YouTube and Sound cloud.

And please other than his screaming he sounds no different than 90 percent of these new "rappers"
