Not a myth. At concerts there are always two unique white type of dancing that I notice (other than the typical hands in the air moving to the beat like Eminem).
There is the hippy white chicks who do their crazy dances which seem to be in rhythm to a folk song...not the music going on.
Always a white guy whose dancing breaks down to a form of karate/tai chi.
