I don't doublt Royce's capability. But I feel like if he knows he doesn't have the will to go "Malcom X" on nikkas anymore, he shouldn't be pushing that line.
For him to beat or even properly respond to Lupe, he was going to have to up the ante and go above whatever he thought was 'too personal' which burns the bridge completely. His career was plauged by burning bridges just to do it, so I understand the hesitation.
