Ppl really are stuck in their bubbles. Stalking someone is the worst thing you can do outside of rape and murder. It erodes your sense of safety, is psychologically terrorizing and CAN ABSOLUTELY BE FATAL.

You can keep records of what they do, file police reports, get restraining orders but these things don't stop stalkers and the police can't do shyt unless they harm you physically. It's a damn nightmare.
