Trainer here...fukk chicken and rice if you're trying to get swoll. Steak (any kind of good quality beef), potatoes, and beans. A few glasses of milk a day also if it doesnt bother your stomach. If it does, swap the milk out with fortified orange juice.

isn't all that red meat going to fukk you up in the long run. Wouldn't it be more healthy to eat chicken and supplement the lost calories on the steak with a protein shake or something.

Nah my cholestrol and everything else is still fine and I've been eating this way for years. I make sure to keep my gut healthy by drinking apple cider vinegar, eating a good amount of fruits and veggies, and adequate amount of fiber daily. The thing with protein shakes is that most are filled with bullshyt. Yea you can get big but most people end up becoming bloated looking.

I’ve been primarily eating baked chicken and rice for probably over a decade and I’m still skinny af
You need to eat a BALANCED diet to grow. Chicken and rice isn’t a balanced diet

Not saying I believe this dude is clean but many people underestimate how much you need to eat to gain size.

Also how you workout matters too.

If you’re doing a bunch of machines and a couple dumbbell workouts then good luck gaining size.

But if you’re doing compound lifts then yeah you’ll start packing on size with the right diet

If you ever confused again, just go with you can be big kinda pudgy or ripped but lean.. Dudes who are huge muscles but also shredded, steroids. Very few people have genetics to be both big and ripped naturally.. This dude is jacked with huge defined muscles, cmon..

100%.

To get big, you need to intake more calories than you burn. Even with a perfect diet and workout regimen...some of the lbs will be fat while most is muscles. Gaining 10, 20, 30+ lbs of pure muscle with no fat gain doesn't happen.
