Gym brehs: Today I did “dips” for the first time ever and I loved it.

Probably gotta be careful how far you go down on the dip.

Had the same issue and my shoulder wasn't right for a minute. Got back to doing them again but didn't go quite as deep. Only do em 2 or 3x/week but it makes a huge difference.

Push ups are good too.

Bench makes my chest bigger but dips seemed to give it more "shape" if that makes sense.

How wide are you going? Wide hits chest more but puts more stress on your shoulders. Close is more tricep so that might help with your shoulders.

About to hit leg day myself, I’ve been doing leg lifts to develop my abs and brehs I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on them all this time. :wow:

But my job is very busy this summer because I’m covering for other managers so I’m always in meetings 😭

absolute best exercise for building chest depth imo

this was what got me to increase my max on bench as well

its much easier to add weight to dips than to bench. Your shoulders will also get stronger too for stuff like overhead press

honestly immediately

i did weighted dips and pullups at the same time during my stronglifts 5x5 journey

just added 5lbs each workout

i got up to 95lb added then went back to bench. at the time (this is like 2012) i had stalled at like 155 on bench but was able to push that up to 210+

mind you i had lost weight from 220lb down to 150, then lean bulked up to 165lb
