Deck was supposed to be in that first run of solos but losing tracks in the flood & Ghost's popularity off Cuban Linx had Ghost jump the line as the last solo before Forever.
I can't imagine what we lost in the flood as far as Decks album goes etc..... I am sure it was some straight fire being Rza was in his prime at the time and doing classic after classic.

That flood was life altering. If Deck got an album comparable to Cuban Linx/Liquid Swords/Iron Man at the time it would have been a classic and altered his life to this day. At the very least it would have gone gold too.

Makes sense... But that was Deck's time...

true but Ghost was not only hot but a Clan co-founder/co-exec producer for every album and a good debut for RZA's newly negotiated Razor Sharp Records on Sony while Deck was tied to Loud despite delays as Loud outbid & retained the solo contracts for the 2 emcees on CREAM- 36 Chambers biggest single

Tical would've been better if it wasn't for the flood as well. It always felt rushed to me.
