Thought I was in a Mad Max movie on my way to a mall recently driving down the hill and looking at it on the way down. Like either last Christmas or the year before, there were more people working at one mall than there was shopping there.

I can't say it definitively, but I'm sure they knew about the potential closing of those stores prior to the 4th Qtr of 2017. Most retail giants are switching to an online format.

With the wave of white nationalism sweeping through Europe and the US., I wouldn't be surprise if that was purposeful marketing.

If 60 million people voted for Trump, I'm sure there's a market for his type of thinking. I'm not saying they're going to market like that again, but their wink-wink message has been sent.
