IGN gave it an 8.4

Basically their gripe is in the driving mechanics. You cant shoot out windows and you cannot end car chases without hacking things. No matter how fast your car you cant out run police. Again, you can only end car chases through hacks.

all of the gameplay videos, graphic problems and reviews is making this an underwhelming release for me. with that said, watch dogs seems like gta's little brother right now but i feel like it has the potential to be a better series than gta.

I just out drove a cop in the first mission

The driving felt a little odd at first but after a few minutes I got use to it. The hacking is cool so far. When I saw they had a knockoff rigley field in one pic I was thinking

You cannot outrun the cops in the sense that if you are just flying down the street, and they spot you, give chase, they will always catch you...unless you hack a light or something...cause a wreck somehow...you will not be able to shake them...not like in gta V...where i had this suped up GTO that could just literally outrun the police without taking turns or them crashing or anything

After further playing...not only can you not outrun the cops...they always seem to "hoover" around the block that you are at...

For example

I needed to avoid the cops after a mission

Two cop cars were just patrolling right outside the building a left

I walked to the other side of the building

Walked about a good 10 blocks...

Then slowly these dudes started driving toward my direction

Until they were about 2 blocks away

Then just stayed there...

I went and did something else for about 15 min...left Aiden just chilling behind some bushes with the game running...

Came back...them fools were still just there on the side streets...

Even though they couldn't see me...

Pretty sorry, but this is ubisoft here so...

Driving is horrible, graphics are horrible, storyline seems like crap.

Big waste of $60 but since there are no other games out there at the moment, fukk it

I give this shyt a 2 out of 5.

In GTA V if you have 4/5 stars they do this as well. Cops just randomly know where you are.
