I'm sharing this because I guess I need to vent. So y'all know me and my gf were at odds but we working on it. Today is her bday and guess what? She finds out her mother died. She hadn't heard from her over the weekend and she didn't call to wish her a happy bday. They sent the police to her house in Florida and found her in bed. She might have died from the flu.

What's crazy, last month I was down there at her house. I cooked for them. We played in the pool. We had a great time and she was gonna come up for x mas. Now. I'm fukked up. I feel for my gf. It her bday. How do you celebrate it now or if ever? I'm with her now consoling with her sister. But boy it's a crazy feeling.

I say this because life is short. If you love someone, hug and tell them you love them. You never know.

mourn her grandmother but at the end of the day as you said life is to short to worry about the dead, nothing will ever bring her back so remember her for what she was but don't linger

That's the part I'm sad for her. See I lost my mother a well young. She died a few weeks from my bday almost 20 years ago. You learn to cope and live on. I learned to laugh, but she died when I was 11. My gf turned 27 today. Like I said its crazy. I lost an uncle. I mean, I dunno. Life is great but it's sad to see ya loved ones go. Even though you move on, you miss them. You want them around forever. And her mother was young. 51-52. She was a cool lady. Was happy I was with her daughter.

Real talk, I was calling my pops to say hey ima be with my gf all night, this guy didn't answer. I got in the whip and flew over. Just as I'm pulling up, he texts me like hey my phone died and I'm playing your xbox.

i honestly don't know how people do it.

I just pray my parents can make it to late 80s, early nineties at least i'll be almost 60 then
