My mom died in her 40s. My pops is 62 just now. I'm trying to get him healthy and we walk a lot. We a bit big but we try to eat right. I've been going to gym, getting my heart right, my weight down. I don't wanna check out early man.

Sorry for your lose bruh, but what we do in Louisiana is party and celebrate the good things about her. Take a few days off, mourn some, get all the paper work done. And the her favorite liquor and songs, get all the family together. Drink, dance and party until your tired. We lose our grandmother last year, the rock on my moms family. It hurt like hell, but after her funeral, about a 100 of us went to my cousins house and dance, dranked and partied all night. It might be hard to pull off, but it helped me a lot.

sad as fukk man...your girl doesn't want to celebrate trust its a time to reflect and mourn...thats why its always good to stay on good terms with your loved ones and treat them with love all the time so that if they pass you don't have any regrets like if the last time you saw them you argued or said something mean...that will haunt you a while i would imagine
