I followed because it seemed like the black thing to do. I mention in the last paragraph that I always wanted to be down with my black folk but I’m too different. I operate on the contrary from them. I love my peoples but Idc about majority of stuff that they care about.
Theshaderoom is for women.

Not thread worthy but had to vent. That shyt is poisonous and had me starting to really dislike my own people. The stupidity and stuff they applaud is useless. It isn’t fun and games. Seeing so many baseless opinions was chipping at my spirit.

Seeing the stuff that matters to a sizable amount of our population skewed my view of black life.

The bias discord of interracial relationships pissed me off. I don’t even care for anglo people but the cheering for a black woman to swirl and yasss to shame and question a breh with an anglo female two post down.

The celebrity gossip on truly mindless shyt always had me questioning, why am I following this shyt that doesn’t matter.

Part of me always wanted fame and clout with my people but I’m too different.

Salute.

I love it. These blogs and socials are being used to promote and perpetuate some of the worst stereotypes...

They’re also furthering the divide.

You might as well just follow Tariq, Umar, and Jason Black.

Just save yourself the mental agony.
