Those two points aren't mutually exclusive lol. I've been gaming since '95, this is definitely the worst console generation by a wide margin, I don't know what other one would even come close.....

We don’t appreciate what we have until we don’t have it. The prevalence of cross gen has been annoying, but a lot of these old gen ports are vastly inferior to the new. Look at the PS4 port of Marvel Rivals compared to the PS5 and then you realize just how good this gen has actually been
