How does Smith always end up a good team with a boss defense and legit running game. He just brings that energy with him or something. As soon as he leaves and Redskins get a good QB. It'll vanish.

isnt it obvious ? not turning the ball over and running the ball while dominating time of possession means defense will always have decent field position and is well rested and is not in shytty situations after turnovers

What's so crazy about Alex Smith is that Gruden & the offensive coaching staff are so frustrated with him from a lot of reports. They got rid of Kirk "Windy" Cousins because he was deemed too conservative when Alex is the epitome of it.

If we have to get into a shootout we will lose. And we probably won't go far in the playoffs if we run into a competent QB/offense.

We can't score the ball effectively... It's obvious. I don't know how that will play out in the playoffs if we get there..

they may as well call up Dez, just for this season. Even if Smith won't throw to him, Dez is perfect for people to hold double coverage and opens that offense more. But I doubt the front office would do that.
