Serious question as someone whose not a big boxing fan: why do so many people on the coli love Floyd?? Is it just the record? He's obviously a talented boxer but nothing about his fighting style screams excitement. Watching him stay back and keep everyone at bay with straight right jabs for 12 rounds, while impressive that it works so well, feels so anti-coli.

For the same reason that there are many fans on here of Tim Duncan: some sports fans like to see athletes that are fundamentally sound at their craft, and able to apply technique and finesse in a subtle way that leads to success. That's what Floyd does. He's mastered the game of 12 rounds such that he's unbeatable.
