It's a shame that Floyd will go down in history partly for his out of the ring indiscretions and not the superlative technician that he is in the ring.

It will take another generation of boxing fans to do some revisionist history, put the bs aside and respect him for the outstanding boxer that he really is.

It's funny that these boxing "fans" continue to complain about Mayweather's style, yet continue to pay top dollar to watch him fight. It's clear that they want to see him lose more than they want to see his opponent fight.

What we learned

Every legit boxing fan knew this would happen and it was lack luste ronly because of the hype

Floyd didnt run away he couldnt be hit like always and outclassed manny...could he have tried to make it more exciting? Sure...but he has one fight left...why risk a ko for a ko

Manny needed to beat floyd more then floyd needed to beat paq...floyd won like 7 straight tounds and pac refuse to try to rjn in and when he did floyd, being one of the goat defensive boxers and a vicious counter puncher, made him look like a amateur

The fight was what we expected

The cacs furious ttyna spin wat the world saw is the beauty for me. I understand being upset the fight wasnt what u expected but if u ever saw floyd fight u should have saw this coming. But floyd doesnt owe us an apology because he convinced them to pay him to see him fight his style of fight because hes been doing thag his career. They shouldnt bytch about no mythical pac injury and they should shake they head at pac smiling before during and after like he was in an exhibition and wss just happy to be paod.

Floyd was calm and focused this whole build up. Every interview i saw even when people kept bringing ul the dv shyt he thanked god and said god can judge him and that he is fighting for his kids. Whether he believe him or not thats what he said and did. Manny on the other hand claimed he won when he got outclassed and even had interviewers asking him wtf he was talking about then he back pedaled ssid he was hurt andhe and his 80 mill was about tk take a baecation

Respect to the greatest boxer of his generation for doing what he was supposed to do and shame on these delusional people that were going tk hate regardles sof the outcome.

For those of you so enthralled with Mayweather and #blackexcellence, I'm curious. Has he ever spoken out on the police brutality thats been in the national spotlight for over a year now?

I was waiting for him to show solidarity with Baltimore during his conference, but not a word. Too busy promoting his sponsors. Dude was on this biggest stage of the world this weekend and nothing.

I understand wanting to see cacs mad, but just keep that and all his flaunting of money in mind during your idolization of him.
Honestly why does he need to? He's a boxer/business man 1st. Being a politician isnt his job

I've yet to get a logical answer for how someone can "run" and still win a fight convincingly.
