Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Dude was playing with Larry Johnson and those boys in Charlotte first and then played with Tim Hardaway, PJ Brown, Dan Majerle ect in Miami. He never had a shytty team like Dwight did in 2011. Nobody was taking about his lack of post move when he was single handedly playing against Portland while James Harden was in a straitjacket

I'm not a Dwight fan but Alonzo Mourning would have won 0 Championships in Dwight's shoes too.

Mourning was also playing against real live centers and doing damage, we've all seen what Dwight turns into when faced with someone as big or bigger than himself that can come close to him athletically. He goes from "Superstar" to a good center real quick, meanwhile Zo was going against Shaq, Robinson, Hakeem, Ewing etc. imagine this bum nikka trying to score against Zo, someone who dealt with Shaq as good as you could ask :russ:

Dwight playing in that era makes zero all-star teams, zero all-nba teams, zero defensive teams.

dwight wouldve been better off trying to emulate alonzo mourning.
he had more in common with him. but instead he invites riducule by trying and failing to be hakeem

Dwight needed to work on his coordination to be like Dream.

Dream was a pure power player when he came into the NBA and developed into a more finesse player.

I think Dwight could've gotten closer than he did but for some reason he didn't.

I just can't, no one who has watched Zo play would agree with you. I just have to disregard your basketball opinions. Zo carried a gawd awful heat team for a lot of years.
I watched Zo and would agree wit him.

Zo was not a great post player or scorer. DWight is ths generation's Zo but with more height and bounce. Dwight should have tried to add a jumper to his game than emulate Hakeem.

Saying that, I think Zo is better than Dwight but its not a blow out by any means.

Zo was an undersized Center in the land of giants. Dude played with heart. He was giving up 2 to 3 inches every night plus 30lbs. Should have been a PF. He had one move the Hoya running hook that all GT centers had

That's what I'm saying.

People would pick him over Dwight because his Passion And dedication when he steps on the court and he's a great person. He shows more heart and pride and he's far less as a bytch.... Let alone off the court.

Zo flew around the world to see his wife give birth to his kid during the Olympics while Dwight Howard is a deadbeat dad with 7 kids or whatever.

Since they are similar talent wise, people would just say Zo was way better just cause he's more respectable

The thing is with dream was he was much more fluid, agile and able to dribble even when he came into the leqgue. Dwight really isn't any of those things.

I have always stated that many of these big men don't even need a lot of post moves if they can at least dribble.

Alonzo for example only had hook shots (yes he had a jumper out to about 18 or 19 feet). But he could get where ever he wanted to get off his shot because he could dribble in a crowded area. I still believe if Dwight could dribble without losing the ball that would help a lot.

People forget that David Robinson had almost no post moves (Especially when he was young). But that dude had hell a fied handles. He would beat bigger centers off the dribble like he was Scottie Pippen. I can remember times when he faced shaq and Ewing. The spurs would clear out the right side and let him go to work. Dude would do some between the leg dribbles and next then you know he would blow past Shaq or Ewing with ease for a dunk or layup.

Yes he was smaller than the 7 ft centers. But he was around 6-10 the same as Dwight. Let's not also forget that hakeems true hieght was closer to Alonzo than Ewings.

Alonzo had long arms with his wing span he was similar to a person maybe 7-2 or 7-3. What hurts Dwight is he does not have the arm length like Alonzo who did not have to gather himself to finish because of the arm length (Dwight often has too and you could see it in the Lakers series when he had to finish over Bynum and Gason). He also does not have the handles like Alonzo giving him the ability to dribble in traffic and get to his sweet spot. Even young players such as Ewing and Hakeem could do this before they added the jumper. They could dribble where ever they wanted then get to their spot and throw up the shot. Same as a young shaq who got dribble to a certain spot.
