What his post didn't mention is the role that mutual aid, armed self defense, and community organizing played in protecting us.

Black people gathered in the church and this was one of the reasons white supremacists targeted our churches with bombings and shootings. Its the reason why the Nation Of Islam has an armed wing. The black panthers gathered in community centers and outdoors, and they believed in armed self defense especially after how people like Fred Hampton died.

Mutual aid is a means of survival in a hostile environment and those bonds need to be strengthened and gate kept. The black churches and mosques will have to thoroughly vet any democratic operative who shows up wanting a photo op and to make promises they have no intention of or ability to keep. The go to move of the democrats is to hollow out any anti capitalist anti imperialist and anti racist messaging that radicals (aka people who actually care about history) try to spread. They are creatures of the university lecture theaters, not the streets and breakrooms. All of our struggle is nothing more than theoretical to them since most are selfishly concerned with "optics" over substance and are too p*ssy to actually push for serious institutional change that will actually help people. They stand for nothing more than vague principles that they claim to uphold and then turn around and do shyt like this.

I genuinely hope Schumer and jeffries lose their elections and are sent crawling back to wall street where they belong. These are not serious people ready to sacrifice anything for the public.
