“Jordan was a far more superior player in a very tough league”

Then warrior teams and spurs teams would’ve beat them bulls ass. When he says “tough league” is he taking about the competition
:patrice:

LeBron was going through Demar Derozon, Joe Johnson, Al Horford, Paul George, Brook Lopez, Bismack Byombo every year.

And I'm just going to point out the obvious here (well, maybe not to some), of course, Hakeem is going say MJ played in a tougher league because it's the same damn league he played in too. He's not going to come out and openly say Bron played in harsher conditions when it makes him look like less of a player and dilutes his accomplishments when he won titles in that tougher league.

When are y'all nxggas going to learn that all these players have their own agendas to uphold?

So Hakeem can't have an opinion? That's what I wanna know?

That quote is from 2017:stopitslime:

Legendary NBA center Hakeem Olajuwon was once asked about the comparison between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. The two-time NBA champion thought the comparison is not fair back in 2017 because Jordan ‘is far superior player’.

“When people start comparing him with Jordan, then that’s not a fair comparison. Jordan was a far more superior player in a very tough league, and he was very creative. That’s not taking away anything from LeBron because he is a great player, but it is not a fair comparison because Jordan is a far superior player,” Olajuwon told CNBC via Will Starjacki of Basketball Network.

LeBron won his fourth NBA title since the quote has been made. But this may not have changed Olajuwon’s views since the number of championships won wasn’t one of his criteria.

How did we go from players having agendas to players can't have opinions? Everyone can have an opinion, but just because someone played the game at the NBA-level and are one of the GOATs, doesn't mean that their opinion(s) hold more weight than everyone else's. If we're being honest here, the best players' opinions are more agenda-driven than everyone else's because they've built a sense of self-belief and competitiveness where they've had to become the best. They didn't become great at their craft by being objective and reasonable.

You can't expect one of the GOATs to come out and say anything that puts themselves in a bad light.

I'll dap. But you don't think Hakeem knows more about basketball than you? If Tom Cruise said he knew more about flim than you you would take that. If Barack Obama said he knew more about politics you wouldn't say otherwise. If a crack head said he knew more about crack you wouldnt argue. so what makes you wiser than Hakeem.

Too broad of a question to answer.

And just because someone may know more about basketball than someone else doesn't automatically mean that they're going to be more objective, and it doesn't mean that they're always going to be right. Hakeem could be infinitely more knowledgeable about the game than x-person, but x-person has a more accurate opinion on Jordan v. Bron.
