It's my opinion breh. Pretty sure not every NBA player ever puts Kobe 1A 1B in comparison to Jordan.
Honestly I think some of these dudes say the popular opinion or the opinion that will yield the least blow back or what would make them look better as a player.
I heard Richard Jefferson say Kobe was better than T-Mac cause he averaged a little more in scoring(he actually said that)that particular season and for no other reason that.
I don't take everything these players say as the complete gospel. If Big O and Wilts opinion held weight it would have y'all going crazy.
There's a page long of quotes from former and current NBA players that has been posted a million times on this site saying essentially that. It may not include EVERY nba player but it lists a whole bunch of them including many of the all-time greats like Bird, Dirk, Durant, Wade, etc.
To the white controlled media, Kobe is not the 2nd best of all-time. But to the guys who have played the game, him and Jordan are basically seen as equals. With some guys like Kevin Durant saying Kobe is better.
To the guys who have played the game, saying Kobe is the GOAT is not outlandish. Its very much a real possibility.
