You don't think an Embiid and Noel pairing could work, provided they both stay healthy?

I think realistically Noel's future is as a defensive PF, he just doesn't have the frame to put on mass and bulk up to center size, he's not much bigger than the Brow or John Henson. I think Embiid's game is versatile enough that he and Noel could work together on offense, as long as they have shooters at the 1-3.

Not a chance.

Noel's a clean up guy. His ceiling doesn't include shooting from 16ft out. Sixers' TS claim they're going to rebuild his jumpshot, but it's not going to happen. The only hope for them would be: getting him to play solely at the 4 spot this season (take advantage of that window where they can still mold him or if it's not going to work out, they can look to get rid of him before waiting another season to do the same - if Embiid can stay healthy) but Hinkie has already said he's going to play spend most of his time playing at the 5. Why overhaul his jumpshot and build his offensive skilset so he can play as a PF, then say he's going to be playing mostly at center?

Center is probably his most stable position, there's certainly a lot more weighing in his favor than there is playing at the 4. That's another problem they have too, drafting Saric who's a tweener - average shooter: 60% free-throw shooter + 29% three-point shooter. Far too many risks involved for it all to work out.

SF/Saric

Embiid

There's no shooting there, and although they'll probably move at least one of them to strengthen their weaknesses in the future - why waste lottery picks like that, when you could draft players who specialize in their position (of equal talent or close).

It's all about spreading the wealth around equally - Sixers clearly ain't about that.

Back then @Miggs didn't want Jonas, now he's hot and he's all on him :mjpls:

Jonas gonna be the European Noah.

Hes on my team, whatever he becomes ill have to bare it...I think his offense right now is better than Joakims, wait til Hakeem done with that boy and able to show him a few counters to his jump hook...

Not to mention it shouldn't be that hard for Noel to develop a 15-20ft mid range. If they both stay healthy and Nerlens can hit spot up mid range shots, the East will be in trouble by 2020.
