As long as there are close to 50 million black people in this country, there will never be Universal Basic Income in America.

If you’re making $75k, you’re a 3 percenter among young Black men.

Let's say this is accurate and those millenials are making 15K a year or less. Doesn't this strengthen the argument that we, as black people, need to STOP shaming our people for staying home? If you are black and in your 20s or 30s, unless you are PAID and debt free with tens of gs in the bank (and, honestly, even that does nothing to really mitigate the experience of being black in this white supremacist society), you should try as hard as you can to stay home and STACK YOUR PAPER. Period. A brother who only makes 15k a year and lives at home will be in a better position within 5 years than a brother who makes twice or third as much and is renting. Black people need to stop thinking shyt is one way when it's the other way and always has been.

At this point we're the only ones shaming each other for staying at home. Even white people have come to accept the fact that they may live with their parents into their 30s and beyond.

Black people have been duped into thinking they were making it. A "black " President. Professional sports teams dominated by African Americans, Africans or Afro Latinos. Popular culture heavily influenced by hip-hop, an aesthetic created and still heavily curated by black people. We are the "IT" people of this world, yet we are at the bottom in every respect. Without us, this society would be the definition of mayyonaise and white bread, as bland as it gets, and we aren't seeing anything for it. It's going to get so much worse, in a stunningly short period of time, as long as Trump is in office. A lot of black people in America have no idea that we are presently being targeted for extermination.
