If enough people felt that way, they would.
Fact is its not viewed as more valuable than that, and automation will do away with it in the next 10yrs anyway...
Truth is, just being alive and gaining employment isn't enough to secure comfort, you need to take education seriously.
Dude, if you are making $10 or more an hour working 40 hour shifts.. you are gonna make more than 15k a year.

Great health coverage/insurance is the primary reason I stay with MTA. Couple that with a cake job & flexibility on the outside for hustling (havent taken advantage of this yet). I'm stable but not fully satisfied like alot of my co-workers are.

Let's say this is accurate and those millenials are making 15K a year or less. Doesn't this strengthen the argument that we, as black people, need to STOP shaming our people for staying home? If you are black and in your 20s or 30s, unless you are PAID and debt free with tens of gs in the bank (and, honestly, even that does nothing to really mitigate the experience of being black in this white supremacist society), you should try as hard as you can to stay home and STACK YOUR PAPER. Period. A brother who only makes 15k a year and lives at home will be in a better position within 5 years than a brother who makes twice or third as much and is renting. Black people need to stop thinking shyt is one way when it's the other way and always has been. :francis:
And renting from whom? A number of Black parents and grandparents own their dwellings. You gonna rent from someone who doesn't know or care about you instead of taking care of a place you stand to inherit? We have it backwards.

All in all man just live and appreciate your life. We could be gone tomorrow and none of this will matter. Stay up
