Yea it’s fukked up in certain aspects but there’s two sides to every story. A lot of these nikkas don’t want to do shyt. When somethin as simple as not being able to pass a drug test is the reason why you not workin, who fault is that? So many of these clowns can’t even stop smoking long enough just to pass the test to get in

Then these just examples from my fam, had a cousin that got out the joint then got plugged with a decent job at the railroad with benefits decent pay and everything. Clown quit and told them “he out grew this place”...back in the joint on a dope case less than a year later

Got another cousin that just sit in the crib all day drinkin complaining about not being able to get a job. Has no background and graduated high school, I used to send him plugs on shyt I was gettin in ( I have a background ) nikka always had an excuse as to why these people didn’t want him. Just like I made several topics here ( that no one gave a fukk about ) about joinin trades, I tell these nikkas every single time and no one even attempts to apply. Told nikkas how to finesse community college out of a degree and financial aid / map grant checks just for showing up, no one listens...

Homie real fukking talk don't throw oklahoma and places like Nebraska and Kansas in the trash. Those 3 places have something that chicago doesnt. A high need for educated black folks in technical fields. They have engineering jobs (cause they got to hire minoritiee due to government grants). But the educated black folks and other minorities hit the first thing smoking out once they get their education.

So a kat like you can go down there get a gig off jump and make them hoes pay a higher salary (I seen it happen) than say a dude getting a gig in chicago fresh out of college.

Then you work that gig for a year or two and bounce up out of there.

Plus understand there are a bunch of aerospace and DoD jobs in OKC and Wichita, kansas. They always looking cause no one wants to go there and if they do they leave immediately.

shyt I had recruiters hitting me up for contract jobs in Whitcita cause they building shyt for Northrop Grumman out there.

But you right it is hard for educated folks. Hell my cousin was getting offers in chicago for like 40 to 50k even though dude got two degrees and a bunch of exp. He put his resume in for Dallas and dude was getting hits left and right for jobs 70 to 85k. Man he got the fukk up out of chicago last month and been had a smile on his face every time I see him now.

And this why I tell folks who have the opportunity to do so to move. You can open all the business you want, but the fact is, there isn't an industry here that will create wealth for the young black folks. Giving them part time, low wage work does not give you homeowners who are invested in their communities, paying taxes into the infrastructure and school system, etc. A systemic failure and a changing economy means the people likely to see the most success are those that leave. Check how expensive Chicago is to live in and you know half the reason these kids will stay in poverty. I'm 30 with no kids and I wouldn't dare raise one here in Chicago's current state. Leave your hood for greener pastures and build.

But however, this shyt is the elephant in the room nobody wants to talk about. The wills of our people have been so collectively broken, alot of us are destined to be nothing more than useless low lifes. Even if you toppled WS tomorrow, I am POSITIVE a good portion of our people wouldn't really do anything different.
