Part of me wonders if this wasn't a lowkey attempt at sabotage out of anger or jealousy that her career was going somewhere while his was stagnant but then things got out hand once all the blogs ran with a certain narrative when he was just trying to be cryptic and vaguely throw dirt on her name without being specific.

It's almost like he tried to get a hazy rumor started to generate a little personal buzz and throw some unspecified shade but underestimated how these blogs and rap fan pages would take what he alluded to and turn it into a whole scandal that spread like wildfire and got folks sending that girl death threats and shyt so he got shook.

Right. DDG is a YouTuber but one with a particularly rabid fanbase so even putting Halle in that light was gonna expose her to harassment, threats, etc from his fans.
